Little Johnny watched, fascinated, as his mother gently rubbed cold cream on her face. "Why are you rubbing cold cream on your face, mommy?" he asked. "To make myself beautiful," said his mother. A few minutes later, she began removing the cream with a tissue. "What's the matter?" asked Little Johnny. "Giving up?"

Expecting
When Donna found out she was pregnant, she told the good news to anyone who would listen. Her 4-year-old son also overheard some of his parents' private conversations. One day when mother and son were shopping, a woman asked the little boy if he was excited about the new baby. "Yes!" the 4-year-old said, "and I know what we are going to name it, too. If it's a girl we're going to call her Christina, and if it's another boy we're going to call it quits!"

Scary Storms
One summer evening, during a violent thunderstorm, a mother was tucking her small frightened boy into bed. She was about to turn off the light when he asked with a tremor in his voice, "Mommy, will you sleep with me tonight?"The mother smiled and gave him a reassuring hug. "I can't dear," she said, "I have to sleep with Daddy."A long silence was broken at last by a shaken little voice saying, "The big sissy."
